Ocoviz is an AI-powered learning intelligence platform designed for use by schools, educators, and authorised educational institutions. The platform is intended for adults (18+) operating in a professional educational capacity.

• Students do not independently create accounts on Ocoviz
• Student data is accessed and managed only through schools or authorised educators
• Schools act as the data controllers and are responsible for obtaining parental or guardian consent where required

• Generate learning insights and analytics for educators
• Help teachers identify learning gaps and at-risk students early
• Improve classroom outcomes through intelligent signal processing
• Enhance platform features and overall user experience

Ocoviz implements multiple layers of security to protect institutional and student data:

• Encrypted data transmission (TLS 1.2+) and storage (AES-256)
• Role-based access control — users see only what their role permits
• Secure cloud infrastructure hosted within India
• Regular monitoring, security audits, and anomaly detection

Ocoviz shares data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With the respective school or institution that owns the data
• With authorised teachers and administrators within that school
• When legally required by applicable Indian law or court order

For platform performance, security, and analytics purposes, Ocoviz may collect basic technical information:

• Device type and browser
• General IP address (used for security and session management only)

We explicitly do not:

• Collect persistent device identifiers (Advertising ID, IMEI, MAC address)
• Track users across apps or services outside of Ocoviz
• Use technical data for behavioural advertising or commercial profiling

If enabled by a participating school, Ocoviz may provide transportation management features including school bus tracking, route monitoring, pickup/drop notifications, and transportation safety services.

Protecting children's privacy is a core design principle of Ocoviz — not an afterthought.

• Ocoviz is designed for institutional use and is not available for direct use by children
• Student data is provided to us by schools or authorised institutions — never collected directly from students
• Schools are responsible for obtaining parental or guardian consent before adding student data to the platform
• We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from minors
• We do not allow children to publicly share personal information through our platform
• We do not use student data for profiling, targeting, or advertising

Ocoviz complies with applicable data protection regulations including:

• Ocoviz does not display advertisements to students, teachers, or any platform user
• No personalised or interest-based advertising is served
• No user data is used or sold for advertising monetisation

• Data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service to the school
• Institutions can request full data deletion at any time by contacting support@ocoviz.com
• Inactive or terminated accounts may have data anonymised or permanently deleted within an agreed retention window
• On offboarding, schools receive a full data export before deletion is confirmed

Authorised users and institutions have the following rights with respect to data held on the Ocoviz platform:

• Access — Request a copy of data held about your institution or account
• Correction — Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion — Request permanent deletion of your institution's data
• Withdrawal — Withdraw access or deactivate accounts at any time

Users or institutions can request complete account and data deletion through one of the following methods:

• Through the platform settings (where available)
• By contacting us directly at support@ocoviz.com

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive written confirmation once deletion is complete. We do not retain backup copies of deleted data beyond our standard 30-day backup window.

Ocoviz uses cookies and similar technologies only for the following limited purposes:

• Session management and authentication (keeping you logged in securely)
• Platform performance monitoring and improvement
• User experience preferences (e.g. language, display settings)

• No advertising cookies or cross-platform tracking
• No third-party analytics that share data with advertising networks
• No tracking of users across sessions beyond what is required for security

Ocoviz uses a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate the platform:

• Secure cloud hosting — infrastructure located within India
• Analytics tools — for platform performance monitoring only (not user profiling)
• Communication services — for delivering authorised notifications (SMS, WhatsApp, email) to schools and parents
